What Happens If My Green Card Gets Denied?
If your green card application is denied, you can appeal the decision or refile your application:
Appeal
- You can file Form I-290B with USCIS to appeal the decision. 
- You must file within 30 days of receiving the decision or 33 days if you received it by mail. 
- The filing fee is $675. You can appeal to the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) or file a motion to reopen or reconsider your case. 
Refile
- You can refile your application, starting over from scratch.

- You can also apply for a work card and travel document again.
